HVAC Intaller

Job Summary: 

We are looking for a skilled and motivated HVAC Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and/or commercial settings. This includes everything from ductwork and thermostats to furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps. 

The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, takes pride in their work, and is committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Install HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ductwork, thermostats, ventilation systems, and related components 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and technical manuals 
  • Measure and cut ductwork and piping to fit layouts and designs 
  • Ensure all work complies with manufacturer instructions, local codes, and company standards 
  • Test systems for proper function and performance upon completion 
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary adjustments 
  • Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and team members 
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, materials used, and work performed 
  • Keep work area clean and organized during and after each job 
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE and tools on every job site

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED required 
  • 3-5 years of HVAC installation experience preferred 
  • EPA 608 Certification required (Universal) 
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics 
  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills 
  • Familiarity with duct design and fabrication (flex, sheet metal, etc.) 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record 
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics, crawlspaces, and rooftops 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience installing smart thermostats and zoning systems 
  • Proficient in brazing, soldering, and refrigerant charging 
  • Experience with both residential and light commercial installs 
  • HVAC trade school certification or completed apprenticeship program
