Our story: two people, one name, since 1998
Jimmy and Lorraine built this company the Lowcountry way — one neighbor at a time. What began with two people and a single truck has grown into a 40-person team, and the second generation didn’t inherit a business so much as a standard: show up, do it right, clean up, and answer the phone when it rings.
The Lowcountry works its systems hard. Charleston humidity keeps air conditioners running half the year, salt air off the marsh is merciless on outdoor condensers, and the housing stock runs from historic downtown homes to brand-new construction in Summerville and Cane Bay — each with its own quirks. That’s why Blanton & Sons grew into a full heating, cooling, plumbing, and indoor air quality company: one call covers the AC struggling through August and the water heater that quits in January. It’s also why the maintenance plan carries the founder’s name — Jimmy’s Comfort & Care Plan — because he’s still the standard the work is measured against.
