One naming note worth clearing up: HALO’s official model name is the H2 Zero Ultimate, and you’ll see it marketed — including on our own coupons page — as the Halo Ultimate. Same system, same $5,265 installed price.
Just as important for our customers: HALO designed the Ultimate to run without electricity, drain lines, backwash cycles, or salt. On islands where plenty of homes sit empty for stretches of the year, a system with nothing to refill and nothing to break down is the right engineering.
How the HALO H2 Zero Ultimate works
Water enters the tank and flows up through HALO’s high-activity carbon and KDF55 media blend, which strips chlorine, chloramines, bad taste, and odor while polishing the water clear. The media meets or exceeds NSF/ANSI Standard 42 certification for aesthetic contaminant reduction.
From there, water passes the HALO ION inline conditioner. Reversing-polarity magnetic fields alter how dissolved calcium and magnesium behave, keeping the minerals suspended in the water instead of bonding to your pipes, water heater, and fixtures as limescale — and gradually dissolving scale that’s already there.
